This Privacy Policy explains how Trit Labs, LLC ("we," "us") handles information in connection with the mobile game Tilt Obstacle Course (the "App"). We designed the App to collect as little personal information as possible. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask you for your name, email address, or other directly identifying information.
The App carries a 13+ ("Teen") age rating and is intended for teenagers and adults. By downloading or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, please do not use the App or provide any information through it. The App is not offered in Apple's Kids Category.
We do not collect personal information that you provide directly. The App and the third-party services it uses collect the following automatically:
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we and our providers rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR:
Before showing personalized ads, the App requests your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and — where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area and the UK) — presents a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform. You can change your choices at any time:
Personalized advertising may involve profiling by our advertising partners (using device and ad-interaction data to select ads). You can decline it through the tracking and consent controls above, in which case you will receive non-personalized ads.
Where an ad-free version of the App is offered and purchased, ads and ad-related data collection are disabled.
The App relies on the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) — you may have the right to:
How this works in practice. We do not operate user accounts, a login, or a personal-data database, and we do not receive data that identifies you. The information collected through the App is pseudonymous — random device and advertising identifiers that are not linked to your name or identity — and is held by our analytics and advertising providers (see "Third-party services"), not by us. Because we cannot single you out within that data on our own, we are generally unable to locate, provide a copy of, correct, delete, or port the data of a specific individual without your help, and — as permitted by GDPR Article 11 and comparable laws — we do not collect or retain extra information solely to enable such requests. If you provide the identifiers involved — your device's advertising identifier, or the App's Analytics ID shown in Settings → Privacy (tap to copy) — we will act on your request where possible, including passing access or deletion requests to the relevant provider (GDPR Art. 11(2)).
You can still exercise meaningful control at any time:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising except as governed by the advertising consent and tracking choices described above.
On-device data (progress, records, and settings) remains until you delete the App or clear its data. We do not keep personal data on our own servers. Data collected through the App is held by our advertising and analytics providers and retained — and de-identified or deleted — for the periods and under the terms described in their own privacy policies.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), showing personalized ads may be considered "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell your personal information. To opt out of this "sharing," decline App Tracking Transparency (iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking) and/or the in-app advertising consent options. When you do, ads are served on a non-personalized basis. Opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) are browser-based signals; the App is not a website and does not process them — the controls above are the mechanisms for opting out of ad personalization in the App.
Consistent with its 13+ ("Teen") age rating, the App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to, or intended for, children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the App is not offered in Apple's Kids Category. If we become aware that a child under 13 has used the App, we will take reasonable steps to stop the associated processing and have it removed by our providers; because the data is pseudonymous and not linked to identity, we may be unable to isolate a specific child's information. A parent or guardian with concerns may contact us at the address below.
Teens and the age of consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and some other regions, the minimum age at which a person can consent to data processing ranges from 13 to 16. If you are below that age where you live, applicable law may require a parent's or guardian's involvement; the consent form is provided through Google's User Messaging Platform.
Advertising to minors. Ads are configured so that ad content is suitable for the App's 13+ rating. Personalized advertising depends on the permissions and consent you provide (see "Advertising and tracking choices" above); where applicable law restricts personalized or targeted advertising to minors, ads are provided on a non-personalized basis.
Your information may be processed in countries outside the EEA and the UK — including the United States, where our service providers operate. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or UK, those transfers are protected by an adequacy decision or by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK Addendum where applicable), as described in the providers' privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, within the App.
